Privacy policy

Last updated: [Date]

Draft. This is a draft template, not a final legal document. It must be reviewed and approved by a qualified lawyer before GlobalPACS launches.

Who we are

This policy explains how GlobalPACS ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website (globalpacs.in) and the GlobalPACS service. [Legal entity name, registration number and registered address.]

The law we follow

We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the rules made under it, and other applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

For personal data you give us on this website, such as a demo request, we act as the Data Fiduciary. For patient data that diagnostic centres, hospitals and radiologists store in the GlobalPACS service, the centre or hospital is normally the Data Fiduciary and we process that data on its behalf as a Data Processor, under our agreement with it.

What we collect on this website

When you request a demo, we collect:

  • Your name, role, organisation and city
  • Your phone number and email address
  • The approximate number of studies you handle each month
  • Any message you choose to send us
  • Your consent to be contacted

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use your data

We use the details in a demo request only to contact you about GlobalPACS, arrange a demo and answer your questions. We rely on the consent you give when you submit the form.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the website and the service, such as hosting, database and email providers. They process data only on our instructions. [List of processors and where they are located.]

How long we keep it

We keep demo request details for as long as needed to follow up with you, and then delete them. [Retention period.]

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Have your grievance addressed by us
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to
